HOW TO: TRANSFER FILES B/W TWO PCs USING ETHERNET

Well, this might be a known trick but I know most of you don’t knowhow this actually works. We are upto deeply analyze how to transfer files between two PCs with ethernet or LAN cable. Sharing large amounts of data with your friends may really be a hassle if you don’t know of efficient and easy ways to do it. One way is you can use an externalstorage medium such as an external HDD, USB, etc. This way is convenient for most of us, best for the average users, regardless of the fact that it drains 50% of our precious time in the process. Thinkabout it. First you’ve to copy files to the external media and then copy it again from there to another computer. Isn’t that a waste of time clearly? Here’s when you’ve to look for alternatives if you treasure your time. The best way would be the one which would consume the least time, and must be easy to get along with. This is only possible when you directly transfer file to the another Computer, eliminating the need of a third media. Windows comes along with built-in File Sharing feature that can be used to share data throughout your network. Don’t worry if you don’t have anetwork, you can use this feature even by easily linking two computers via a LAN cable, or in other words, by networking twoComputers. This tutorial is really easy to followand will help you in getting started with LAN file transfers in notime. Things You Will Require are Ethernet/LAN cable and Two Computers with Ethernet/LAN ports. Next is the most important step. change ur IPV4 address of one pc to (IP address) 206.46.131.139, 255.255.255.0(subnet mask) 207.46.131.136(default gateway). And in next another pc just vice versa means ip address should be.136 and default gateway should be .139 at the end. Now share your files between ur friends laptop and PC with Just a LAN cable at high speed.

The name of solar car is Sunswift IVy. The car normally uses solar cells to charge a 25 kg battery. The carhas smashed a GUINNESS WORLD RECORD. It is a single seater car till yet. Researchers are working on it to improve durability, design, efficiency and other things.

Maha shiv Ratri

Maha Shivaratri is celebrated with great devotion and religiousfervor by Hindus, in honor of Lord Shiva, one of the Hindu Gods forming the Trinity. The festival falls on the moonless, 14th night of the new moon in the Hindu month of Phalgun (in the month of February - March, according to English Calendar). On the festival of Maha Shivaratri, devotees observe day and night fast and worship Shiva Lingam, to appease Lord Shiva. Many interesting legends have been related to the festival of Maha Shivaratri, explaining the reason behind its celebrations as well as its significance. According to one of the most popular legends, Shivaratri is thewedding day of Lord Shiva and Parvati. It is also believed that Lord Shiva performed‘Tandava’,the dance of the primal creation, preservation and destruction onthis auspicious night of Shivaratri. According to another popular legend, described in Linga Purana, it was on Shivaratri that Lord Shiva manifested himself in the form ofa Linga for the first time. Since then, the day is considered to be extremely auspicious by the devotees of Shiva and they celebrate it as Maha Shivaratri -the grand night of Shiva. Shiva devotees observe strict fast on Maha Shivaratri, with many people having only fruits and milk and some not even consuming a drop of water. Worshippers dutifully follow all the traditions and customs related to Shivaratri festival, as they strongly believe that sincere worship of Lord Shiva, onthe auspicious day, releases a person of his sins and also liberates him from the cycle of birth and death. As Shiva is regarded as the ideal husband, unmarried women pray for a husband like Him, on Shivaratri. On the other hand, married women pray for the well being of their husbands, on this auspicious day. On Maha Shivratri, devotees wake up early in the morning and take a bath, if possible in river Ganga. After wearing freshclothes, they visit the nearest Shiva temple, to give ritual bath to the Shiva Lingum (with milk, honey, water etc). The worship continues the whole day and whole night. Jaagran (nightlong vigil) might also be observed in Lord Shiva temples, where a large number of devotees sing hymns and devotional songs, in praise of Lord Shiva. In the morning,g devotees break their fast by partaking the prasad offered to Lord Shiva, after the aarti, the night before.

Who Is Anna Hazare ?

Anna Hazare is one of India's well-acclaimed social activists. A former soldier in the Indian army, Anna is well known and respected for upgrading the ecology and economy of the village of Ralegan Siddhi which is located in the drought prone Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra state. The erstwhile barren village has metamorphosed into a unique model of rural development due to its effective water conservation methods, which made the villagers self-sufficient. Earlier, the same village witnessed alcoholism, utter poverty and migration to urban slums. Inspired by Hazare’s unique approach of salvaging a hopeless village, the state government has implemented the `Model Village’ scheme as part of its official strategy. Hazare is now synonymous with rural development in India.

Youth in INDIA

The young population percentage of India is higher than never before in the history of our country. The future of India is in our hands. As Swami Vivekananda said and I quote"If India has awaken, we can say the World has awaken". Such is the power of India, such is the influence of India in the World, which each of you is a part of. India can conquer the world without any arsenal, without any war, without any death or destruction, but with knowledge, love, spirituality and wisdom. The people of India have always possessed high intellectual capabilities, as you may remember from school text books and other readings, that when European societies were still in their cradles Indian sages were making advanced research in various fields like Medicine, Astronomy, Mathematics, Engineering, Philosophy, Spirituality, etc.

Indian Rebellion of 1857

The Indian Rebellion of 1857 began as a mutiny of sepoys of the British East India Company's army on 10 May 1857, in the town of Meerut, and soon erupted into other mutinies and civilian rebellions largely in the upper Gangetic plain and central India, with the major hostilities confined to present-day Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, northern Madhya Pradesh, and the Delhi region.[3] The rebellion posed a considerable threat to Company power in that region,[4] and it was contained only with the fall of Gwalior on 20 June 1858.[3] The rebellion is also known as India's First War of Independence, the Great Rebellion, the Indian Mutiny, the Revolt of 1857, the Uprising of 1857, the Sepoy Rebellion and the Sepoy Mutiny. Other regions of Company- controlled India —Bengal province, the Bombay Presidency, and the Madras Presidency—remained largely calm.[3] In Punjab, the Sikh princes backed the Company by providing both soldiers and support. [3] The large princely states, Hyderabad, Mysore, Travancore, and Kashmir, as well as the states of Rajputana did not join the rebellion. [5] In some regions, such as Oudh, the rebellion took on the attributes of a patriotic revolt against European presence.[6] Rebel leaders, such as the Rani of Jhansi, became folk heroes in the nationalist movement in India half a century later,[3] however, they themselves"generated no coherent ideology"for a new order.[7] The rebellion led to the dissolution of the East India Company in 1858, and forced the British to reorganize the army, the financial system, and the administration in India.[8] India was thereafter directly governed by the Crown in the new British Raj.[5]

What India has achieved over last 60 years?

India was reborn after the British finally left this country free. Don’t we say we carry our habits in our next birth? So is true with India. Even after her new avatar she just could not get rid of her habit of several thousand years. Her own habit of spreading deep knowledge has not gone. The developed countries today are trying to deal with war and terrorism by arresting and punishing the terrorists, the prisoners of wars. What is the result? With the end of one criminal thousands are born in retaliation. But, India as usual thinks and goes to the roots – the root cause of the birth of this terrorism and war. Why are more and more people turning to crime? When the ultimate lesson of all religions prevailing in this world is love; why more and more people are hurting others in the name of religion. Yes, India has all the answers. She always had. She always loved to share it with others. Man is the finest creation of God. He is bestowed with the best spiritual, mental, intellectual and physical capabilities that God could give to any of his creations. Why is it that more and more men not recognizing these priceless assets are trapped by some devilish, brutish ideas? India knows the so-called powerful independent people are all slaves – slaves of their own negativities. The people who take the path of hatred to restore peace are ignorant of their own being. India knows these people are totally ignorant of the power of their own angel spirits that differentiate between the good and evil, right and wrong. That is why she is not only spreading the message of self-realization to the Indians but also to all human beings. India cares for the Independence of all Mankind.. She wants mankind to be free from the cage of his ego and conditioning. India is not a piece of land. She is made of her people. All these 60 years, given the opportunity she is back with, what she has always been good at---- bringing enlightenment to the Indians and the people of universe. She is secular. She knows all religions (at the core) are the same. Meeting Buddha, emperor Ashoka gave up war and embraced peace and love. The preaching of Buddha was India. Mahatma Gandhi brought into practice the non – violence of Buddha and the whole world remained awe struck at his success. Today technology has made the work of India easier and faster. TV channels, websites, emails, cell phones, microphones, CDs, DVDs, fast transport facilities, and other such scientific inventions have helped the spiritual teachers to reach the masses in no time. Name a country in the world that has not been influenced by the spiritual knowledge shared by India. The preachers and the spiritual gurus of India are loved and respected all over the world. The disciples and seekers need not travel the high peeks of Himalayas to seek knowledge. The preachers need not go walking from one country to another like Buddha to spread their wisdom. I think the most significant achievement of India, in the past 60 years is the continuous effort to free all mankind, from the shackles of their negativities. Do we not remember the optimistic words of Jawaharlal Nehru “When the world sleeps, India will awake to life and freedom”? The mantra of India is freedom for all. JAI HIND

Big Bang

Astronomers believe that the Universe came into being about 13.7 billion years ago, in an explosion known as the Big Bang. In an instant, space and the building blocks of matter were created, and time began. From that moment, the Universe began to expand, and continues to expand today. Over billions of years, matter formed into large, complex structures that continue to evolve. TIMELINE OF THE UNIVERSE Astronomers believe that the Big Bang took place 13.7 billion years ago, and that galaxies began to form 1–2 billion years later. Our Solar System was not created until about 4.6 billion years ago, with primitive single-celled life appearing on Earth about 1 billion years later. It was not until around 600 million years ago that an explosion of life occurred, in the Cambrian Period of Earth’s history. The first dinosaurs evolved 230 million years ago, and man’s earliest ancestors just 4 million years ago. THE MOMENT OF EXPLOSION The Big Bang created an incredibly hot Universe a fraction of the size of an atom. It immediately started to cool and expand, for a brief moment growing at a tremendous rate, in a process called inflation. In less than a millisecond, the first matter was created but, for thousands of years, the Universe was dominated by radiation. THE FIRST THREE MINUTES The first forms of matter created were the tiniest and most basic particles of matter, such as quarks. Scientists today try to recreate what happened by smashing particles in a particle accelerator and studying the tracks. As the Universe cooled, these particles combined to form protons and neutrons, which later joined to form the nuclei of atoms. ATOMS After 300,000 years, nuclei began to capture electrons and form the first atoms. This cosmic microwave map reveals what the Universe was like after 380,000 years. The red and yellow areas are slightly warmer than the blue and green ones and area sign that matter was clumping. THE UNIVERSE TAKES SHAPE As matter was drawn together by gravity, the first stars and galaxies were born. This Hubble Space Telescope picture shows galaxies 2.2 billion light years away, and many more remote galaxies beyond. The gravity of the cluster, including its invisible DARK MATTER , act like a lensto magnify the images of the more distant galaxies. THE EVOLVING UNIVERSE The composition of the ....Universe continues to change. These two galaxies are colliding, and flinging out streams of stars. The Universe is also still expanding. Because of an effect called REDSHIFT , astronomers know that almost all galaxies are accelerating away from each other. Itis not the galaxies themselves that expand–they are held together by gravity–but the vast distances between the galaxies. REDSHIFT By analysing the spectrum of light from a star or galaxy, astronomers can tell how fast it is moving, and whether it is moving towards or away from Earth. If an object is moving away from Earth, its light shifts to longer, redder wavelengths, an effect known as redshift. We know the Universe is expanding as almost all galaxies show redshift, and are rushing apart. DARK MATTER The Universe is made up of matter and energy. Stars and galaxies are forms of matter that we can see. But there are also forms of matter that we cannot see, called dark matter. We know that dark matter exists because of the effects of its gravity. Astronomers believe that dark matter might account for up to 90 per cent of the matter in the Universe.

Universe

Everything that exists–stars, planets, galaxies, and all that lies between–makes up the Universe. Scientists believe the Universe is 4 per cent ordinary matter, 23 per cent dark matter, and 73 per cent dark energy. Almost nothing is known about dark energy, but this is the name given to something that appears to exert a force making the Universe expand. Forces, such as gravity and the laws of physics and chemistry, determine what matter is like and how it behaves. MATTER IN THE UNIVERSE Looking up at the heavens, we see matter in the form of stars, planets, and in the glowing clouds of gas and dust known as nebulas. These are visible forms of matter. However, astronomers believe that over 90 percent of the Universe is made up of invisible matter, known as dark matter. OUR PLACE IN THE UNIVERSE The Earth we live on seems big and very important to us. But in the Universe as a whole, it is a tiny, and very insignificant, speck of rock. To put things into perspective, Earth is just a small planet in the Solar System, part of a family of bodies that circle round the Sun. The Sun is just one of billions of stars in a great star island that makes up our Galaxy. And this Galaxy is just one of billions that make up a Universe bigger than most of us can imagine. CROWDED CITY In the last 100 years cities have grown to house nearly half of the 6 billion humans that live on Earth. Thelargest cities cover areas tens of kilometres wide. OUR PLANET Earth looks beautiful from space. It appears mainly blue because of its vast oceans–water covers nearly two-thirds of our planet. Wisps of white clouds fleck the atmosphere. The continents appear brown and green. Earth is 12,756 km (7,926 miles) across at the equator. THE SOLAR SYSTEM Nine planets, and other smaller bodies, circle the Sun to make up the Solar System. Distances across the Universe are so vast that they are measured in light years–the distance light travels in one year, or 10 million million km (6 million million miles). The Solar System measures about 1 light year across. OUR GALAXY The Sun is one of around 200 billion stars in the Galaxy, our local star island in space. It sits in one of the Galaxy’s spiral arms, about 25,000 light years from the centre. The Galaxy measures about 100,000 lightyears across but is only around 2,000 light ....years thick. THE EXPANDING UNIVERSE Our Galaxy is one of tens of billions ofgalaxies in the Universe. Galaxies are found in groups, or clusters, which in turn gather together to form superclusters. These interconnecting superclusters and the spaces, or voids, between them make up the Universe. Astronomers believe that almost all the galaxies are rushing away from us–and each other–at high speed, and they move faster thefurther apart they are. This tells us that the Universe is expanding. Astronomers believe that an explosion, known as the Big Bang, started off this expansion 13.7 billionyears ago. WHERE SPACE BEGINS The Earth is wrapped inside a layer ofair we call the atmosphere. At a height of about 300 km (200 miles) above Earth, few traces of air remain.Astronauts in orbiting spacecraft have spectacular views of this region and are able to see the blue of the Earth’s atmosphere gradually merge into the inky blackness of empty space. UNIVERSAL FORCES The moons Io and Europa are seen here travelling across the face of Jupiter. They are kept in orbit by Jupiter’s powerful gravitational pull. Gravity is a dominant force in the Universe, and holds together systemssuch as galaxies. It is one of the four fundamental forces, and is the only one that can act over vast distances. Electromagnetism is the force that acts between all substances with an electric charge. The strong force and the weak force occur only in the nuclei of atoms.

Nagpur university Engineering results todelay further

NAGPUR: It seems Nagpur University has failed to learn from last year's fiasco when delay in declaring results had led to large-scale protests and subsequently deferring of entire engineering faculty examinations. This year, too, results of many exams , includingthose of first and second semesters, are yet to be declared even after two months of the papers, claimed students. Though NU PRO Prashant Mohite couldn't be contacted for comments, sources from NU disclosed that lecturers, especially from engineering and technology faculty, were unwilling to do evaluation work that is mandatory as per Section 32(5)(g) of Maharashtra Universities Act , 1994. A majorityof them were not reporting for evaluation duties even after several reminders and none of them responded to NU notices inthis regard. These lectures reportedly work for renowned engineering colleges like Yashwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE) and Kavi Kulguru Institute of Technology and Science (KITS), Ramtek. Citing an example of digital image processing subject whosepaper was conducted on January10, sources stated that it was yetto be evaluated. Sources added that so far NU hasmanaged to declare results of only sixth, eight and a couple of branches of third semesters. They claimed that the lecturers were daring to take on the university as they are well aware that their college managements, which are led by powerful politicians and education barons, will not allow the NU administration to take any concrete action. In fact, NU administration and even vice chancellor Vilas Sapkal can punish these 'adamant' lecturers by cancelling their 'approved teacher' status for failing to report for mandatory duties. But never in history has NU taken such extreme action, especially against the engineering lecturers, thus indirectly encouraging them to skip the mandatory duties. It is learnt, even their principals were fully supporting them by asking them to report to the college. Sources claimed that even NU's Board of Examinations (BoE), the apex body for all exam work, hadfailed to take action against suchteachers as all its members were also among the teaching faculty and they will never approve any punishments against their counterparts. They informed thatdue to deferring of last year's winter exams, entire timetable ofengineering faculty was severely disrupted and now, the summer exams would have to be postponed beyond June as most of the results were yet to be out. This will further increase hardships for the students as their results will be declared by September, they added.
