there is a reason to smile for students who could not clear Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) to take admission in MTech. at Maharashtra's Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) has decided to conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) too for such students. Till now, students have to clearGATE to get the admission to MTech. They did not have any option than to clear the GATE. Considering that most of the students should get a chance to do post graduation in engineering. DTE has taken this decision. Now the students who could not clear GATE can appear in CET to he held on 26 may. The syllabus of CET will be parallel to GATE. The examination will be of 100 marks and duration of time is 1.30 hours. The notification is expected to be issued soon. Apart from this, the admissions for M.Tech will be conducted through Centralized AdmissionProcess (CAP).
