WEB DESIGNING TRICKS
The Web is a visual medium. An effectively designed Web site must wow, tease, and compel your audience to step in and explore what you have to offer. To create an effective web site, you must first understand the basic rules governing Web design. Here I've given few ideas to create a good web site.
Remember the purpose of your web site - Now this seems obvious but I've been to quite a few sites where I was able to find dancing gifs and cute little sayings but not the information I was looking for. Images and other extras are good for your site as long as they contribute to its purpose and not distract from it.
Make it easy - Make sure your site is easy to navigate. If your visitors have to spend to much time trying to find things they will go elsewhere.
Remember the limitations of your visitors - Not everyone has the top of the line computer, latest browser of high speed internet connection. Keep these people in mind when setting up a sight.
Always make large images optional - Large images take more time to download. Always use smaller images with a link to the larger one if people want to wait.
Never use music - Everyone has different tastes and while you may think that having pink Floyd or Garth Brooks playing for your visitor when they enter your site is cool, most will find it annoying and leave.
Avoid tacky backgrounds - Don't use a tiled image background or a bright glaring color, it is too hard on the eyes.
Site name - Choosing a name for your site is important. It needs to be individual, unique, reflect the content and purpose of the site, and be short, snappy and memorable.
Site structure - Your web site can be as small or as large as you want it to be - it's up to you. Some sites consists of just one page (the home page), others consist of hundreds of pages.
The object of a web site is to attract as many people as possible. If you're going for more than one page, think of your web site as a building - the more rooms it has the more interesting and attractive it will be to more people who will be attracted by the content of a particular room. You will need:
Home page - this will be the normal entrance to the site which announces you, your web site and your message.
Core pages - the ones with the meat, the important information.
Special interest pages - each covers a specific angle.
Doorway pages - these are designed specifically to attract Internet surfers. Using the analogy of a building, then unlike a modern building where you want to channel everyone in and out of the front door - for security purposes - with a web site you want to create as many doors (entrances) as possible. Each page (doorway) is another opportunity to be found in the search engines. At the bottom of each doorway page, the person is invited to visit the main page or other pages.
Improving your ranking with the search engines - Research suggests that for surfers to find your site it must appear within the first three pages of the results returned by the search engine. Usually, this means in the top 30 sites listed. Aim always for the top ten.
You can improve your rankings in the search engine by using keywords in the form of HTML meta tags. Meta tags are NOT a magic solution - they're just one component in your visibility strategy.
Finally, don't be in too much of a hurry to register your site. Get it set up and make it rich with content first.

The Stolen Wealth of India During British Rule

Everyone knows the history of India. But not all know how much wealth it gave to this world. I don’t mean the literature and culture it taught to this world. I mean the wealth, the money, the gold and diamonds stolen, looted by the British rulers, when they ruled India for nearly 200years.
During the mid of 1770’s, the western countries, especially Britain had Industrial revolution and it was completely financed by the money looted from India. EvenWilliam Digby and British historian agreed that without the “Venture Capital” which was looted from Bengal, the Industrial Revolution might not have happened. In 1957, the Battle of Plassey happenedamong the Nawab of Bengal and British rulers. But Robert Clive defeated the effort of evicting the British rule. Duringthis battle, Bengal got looted completely.
The looted money and wealth were then showered in the industrial revolution, which helped in the inventions like “The spinning Jenny” in the year 1764, “The water Frame”,a machine to spin cotton threads in the year 1769, “TheSteam Engine” in the year 1785 and a lot lot more.
Apart from financing the British people to develop their inventions and economy, the wealth of India helped Americans also to grow economically. During 19th century, USA levied heavy and stiff tariffs on any goods imported from Britain. Since Britain didn’t have any problem for wealth and money, as it was flowing from India, which they absorbed completely, they didn’t care about the high taxes. So, the prosperity of India was sharedwith America also by the British rulers.
One more Englishman mentioned in his note about India, “Even after sucking the entire wealth of India, our government is still giving moresufferings to the people of India by forcing them to buy their products like dresses which they wove by the inventions sponsored by Indian money. How people of hot country can wear a dress woven for a cold country like England?” and so on…
Anglophiles’ note of apology says “British colonial rule in India was the organized banditry that financed England’s Industrial Revolution”. The British rulers even took over the technology of India, along with money. Will Durant, an American Historian mentioned in his note “India was flourishing in Ship building besides the expertise of making steel and textiles. But all got ruined when British took over those technologies”.
Only few know that the birth place of the world famous Kohinoor diamond (which means Mountain of Light), which is currently a part of theRoyal British Crown Jewels, is India. This 105 carat diamond was the largest one at that time and it was kept by various Mughal Emperors. But it was later looted by the East Indian Company, which was then gifted to Queen Victoria when she was declared as “Empress of India” in the year 1877.
Roughly it has been estimated as 1.8 Trillion Dollars of moneythat was looted by the British rulers in that 200 years of brutal ruling of India, apart from some other wealth like gold, diamonds and raw materials which got transported out of India in 700 Ships and made India from a Developed Nation to a “Developing Country“.

PAN explained

PAN is a 10 digit alpha numeric number, where the first 5 characters are letters, the next 4 numbers and the last one a letter again. These 10 characters can be divided in five parts as can be seen below. The meaning of eachnumber has been explained further.
1. First three characters are alphabetic series running from AAA to ZZZ
2. Fourth character of PAN represents the status of the PAN holder.
• C — Company
• P — Person
• H — HUF(Hindu Undivided Family)
• F — Firm
• A — Association of Persons (AOP)
• T — AOP (Trust)
• B — Body of Individuals (BOI)
• L — Local Authority
• J — Artificial Juridical Person
• G — Government
3. Fifth character represents first character of the PAN holder’s last name/surname.
4. Next four characters are sequential number running from 0001 to 9999.
5. Last character in the PAN is an alphabetic check digit.
Nowadays, the DOI (Date of Issue)of PAN card is mentioned at the right (vertical) hand side of the photo on the PAN card. .........!

''Our Apple Tree''
A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, and took a nap under the shadow.
He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him. Time wentby, the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day.
One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.
“Come and play with me”, the tree asked the boy.
“I am no longer a kid, I do not play around trees any more” the boy replied.
“I want toys. I need money to buythem.”
“Sorry, but I do not have money, but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”
The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the treeand left happily. The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.
One day, the boy who now turned into a man returned and the tree was excited.
“Come and play with me” the treesaid.
“I do not have time to play. I haveto work for my family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?”
“Sorry, but I do not have any house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house.” Sothe man cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the man never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.
One hot summer day, the man returned and the tree was delighted.
“Come and play with me!” the tree said.
“I am getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?” said the man.
“Use my trunk to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy.”
So the man cut the tree trunk to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.
Finally, the man returned after many years. “Sorry, my boy. But I do not have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you”, the tree said. “No problem, Ido not have any teeth to bite” the
man replied.
“No more trunk for you to climb on.” “I am too old for that now” the man said. “I really cannot giveyou anything, the only thing left ismy dying roots,” the tree said with tears.
“I do not need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years,” the man replied.
“Good! Old tree roots are the bestplace to lean on and rest, come sit down with me and rest.” The man sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tєαяs.
This is a story of everyone. The tree is like our parents. When we were young, we loved to play with our Mum and Dad. When wegrow up, we leave them; only come to them when we need something or when we are in trouble. No matter what, parents will always be there and give everything they could just to make you happy.
You may think the boy is cruel to the tree, but that is how all of us treat our parents. We take them for granted; we don’t appreciate all they do for us, until it’s too late.
~ Moral: Treat your parents with loving care…. For you will know their value, when you see their empty chair…We never know the love of our parents for us; till we have become parents .

LAPTOP USERS: BE AWARE!

A couple lost their 25 year old son in a fire at home on June 4th.The son who had graduated withMBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madis on two weeks earlier had come home for a while. He had lunch with his dad at home and decided to go back to clean up his hostel room. His father told him to wait, to meet his mother, before he went back for a few days. He decided to takea nap while waiting for his mom to come back home from work. Some time later their neighbors called 911 when they saw black smoke coming out of the house.
Unfortunately, the 25 years old died in the three year old house. It took several days of investigation to find out the cause of the fire. It was determined that the fire was caused by the laptop resting on the bed. When the laptop was on the bed cooling fan did not get the air to cool the computer and that is what caused the fire. He did not even wake up to get out of the bed because he died of breathing in carbon monoxide.
The reason I am writing this to allof you is that I have seen many ofus and also our brothers& sisters sons&daughters friends&family using the laptop while in bed. Let us all decide and make it a practice not to do that. The risk isreal. Let us make it a rule not to use the laptop on bed with blankets and pillows around. Please educate as many people asyou can.

Not to be confused with love triangle..The triangular theory of love characterizes love in an interpersonal relationship on three different scales :
1. Intimacy- which encompasses the feelings of closeness, connectedness, and bondedness.
2. Passion- which encompasses the drives that lead to romance, physical attraction, and sexual consummation.
3. Commitment- which encompasses, in the short term, the decision that one loves another, and in long term, the commitment to maintain that love.
The"amount"of love one experiences depends on the absolute strength of these three components;
The"kind"of love one experiences depends on their strengths relative to each other. Different stages and types of love can be explained as different combinations of these three elements;
for example, the relative emphasis of each component changes over time as an adult romantic relationship develops.
According to the auther of the theory, psychologist robert sternberg, a relationship based on a single element is less likely to survive than one based on two or more.

People say that you have to experience it to know it.
Experts say that falling in love at first sight has more to do with outward appearances or a particular facial feature. There is nothing scientific about it. Most of us have an image in our minds about how we would like our prospective partner to look like, even detailing minor details such as the color of the hair and the eyes. Subconsciously, your mind has the image imprinted firmly, and when you come across such a person, it is possible that, your mind matches the image it has with what it sees in front of you. Which is why most people who fall in love, actually end up with the kind of people they were looking for in the first place? Others say that it is not love but a liking which takes place at first sight, and when the interest is pursued, becomes a full emotion.
However whatever people say, wherever you look, love at first sight sells. Be it in an advertisement, as Valentine’s Day or even in ....a movie. If you had to randomly ask people to name their favorite movies, one is bound to be a love story, which celebrates love at first sight. No matter what society thinks, falling in love at first sight will always make up a huge part of our fantasies. Some of the people say, it is not the matter of saying or expressing, but just of feeling; it is just a flavor, which you can only taste, not tell to anyone, while other describe that the more you express, less. Whatever is there, but most of the couples believe that having something great for someone is a starting of great relation. Are you also one, who finds any thing like the starting of love? You must come to chaise the following; in order to know whether it is love or something else.
People don’t chaise the philosophy; they know it’s hard. Probably, that’s why they just want to be in real world. What happens initially, as males see someone with coral lips, rosy cheeks or star like eyes or females find a handsome, stylish or muscleman, they start imagining. This is not bad; it’s true that both attract to each other. But dear, it’s only an attraction, not love. Love is something that occurs itself. You never need to think or imagine about that; suddenly, without any extra effort, someone will come out of crowd for you. Don’t believe? All right, I’m going to try with an example of my friend:
My friend jack is a tourism advisor and has an attractive...personality. You all know that tourism is a profession, where you meet several different kinds of people. He shared with me that one day, a well-figured girl, around 25, came to him for professional purpose; they talked for a long time later. Here, a new and exciting relation started. They are continuing on dates today also, although, later they came to know that both are married. He says that he knows it’s bad, and she isn’t in love with him, still he is unable to say her‘good buy’. She also doesn’t have any problem, and they both come close to each other, whenever they need.
The above is what often occurs with the people. But this example may help you to realize that it’s not what you understand. Attraction also has a strong existence, but it doesn’t create a relationship that has the right elements to grow up happily forever. There is something missing. Yes, it is the lack ness of something what you want to feel; the trust, you search.
Actually, attraction and love both are caused by the different hormones. Attraction is something, which may occur at first look generally called‘love at first sight’and may turn into love, later; but the feeling of love takes time. There is something unknown, which inspires you to faith in one.
This is not the matter of mind, but of heart. Of course, it occurs when all the colors of one’s rainbow match to another one’s. It has much higher feelings than attraction towards someone. So, love and attraction are much different to each other. Physical relationship may be the attraction’s first requirement, but love has no mean with the word“expectation”. There is a complete satisfaction in love, not only physical, but spiritual also

His Father gave him a bag of nailsand told him that every time he lost his temper,he must hammer a nail into the back of the wall.
The first day the boy had driven 37 nails into the wall.
Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.
He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the wall.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and thefather suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his
temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone.
The father took his son by the hand and led him to the wall.
He said, 'You have done well, my son, but look at the holes in the wall.
The wall will never be the same. When you say things in anger, they leave a scar just like this one.
Once you hurt ur loved ones It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound will still be there.
A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.
Remember that friends are very rare jewels indeed.

A doctor entered the hospital in hurry after being called in for an urgent surgery. He answered the call asap, changed his clothes & went directly to the surgery block. He found the boy’s father pacing in the hall waiting for the doctor.
On seeing him, the dad yelled:
“Why did you take all this time to come? Don’t you know that my son’s life is in danger? Don’t you have any sense of responsibility? ”
The doctor smiled & said:
“I am sorry, I wasn’t in the hospital & I came as fast as I could after receiving the call…… And now, I wish you’d calm down so that I can do mywork”
“Calm down?! What if your sonwas in this room right now, would you calm down? If yourown son dies now what will you do??” said the father angrily
The doctor smiled again & replied: “I will say what Job said in the Holy Book “From dust we came & to dust we return, blessed be the name ofGod”. Doctors cannot prolong lives. Go & intercede for your son, we will do our best by God’s grace”
“Giving advises when we’re not concerned is so easy” Murmured the father.
The surgery took some hours after which the doctor went out happy,
“Thank goodness!, your son issaved!” And without waiting for the father’s reply he carried on his way running. “Ifyou have any questions, ask the nurse!!”
“Why is he so arrogant? He couldn’t wait some minutes sothat I ask about my son’s state” Commented the father when seeing the nurse minutes after the doctor left.
The nurse answered, tears coming down her face: “His son died yesterday in a road accident, he was at the burial when we called him for your son’s surgery. And now that he saved your son’s life, he leftrunning to finish his son’s burial.”
Moral: Never judge anyone….. because you never know how their life is & what they’re going through”

Mobile trace - How cell phone tracing works?

Technology, and software's
Is it possible to track a GSM/ CDMA cellular phone? Is there a software in market which tracking the location of the phone? Is it possible to track lost mobile?
The one word answer is YES and the descriptive answer is as follows
Tracking cell phone without any software
Any GSM/ CDMA cellular service providers can pin point the location of the users within a certain area. Every few minutes cell phone sends the signal back to the service provider announcing the location of the handset. The nearest cell/ mobile tower picks the signal and alerts the central server that the user is within that certain cell site and all calls should be routed to that site.
The same information can be used by service providers to track the cell phone. Though they won't publish the information publically, they used to co-operate with law enforcement officers to track suspicious mobile numbers.
Tracking cell phone with software
Companies like this (http://www.microlmts.net/) provide software's (LMTS) which can be installed in a mobile phone. This type of software's are meant to track the phone if it's stolen and not used for tracking the location of the mobile phone. The software works like this.
The software once installed sits silently in the phone memory and detect any change in mobile number. When ever we replace the SIM (or if the thief does), it prepares an SMS and send the new mobile number to two (or more) predefined numbers set by the original owner of the phone.(or the International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI)).
Powered with the above information we can contact law enforcement officers to track the location of the cell phone. This is not a foul proof method as it's quite possible that the person who took the phone can start the phone without a SIM card and then format the phone memory to wipe out any existing software or data. (Without SIM card means no SMS sent out)
Using IMEI number
International Mobile Equipment Identity or the IMEI number can also be used to track stolen cell phone if we are getting good support from law enforcement officers and service providers.
Each GSM mobile phone has a unique number which is called IMEI number. The service provider keeps track of this number to identify the phone in the network.
Suppose if the phone is stolen and we are giving the instruction in writing to all the service providers to track the cell phone, the providers can easily find the location or disable the phone to function in that particular network.
This makes the phone practically useless and thereby discourages further theft.
But for this method we need lot of support from the service providers. As every city might be having 6-10 providers and each of them having its on rules, it will be a haunting process to make it work.
Other than that there are no viable solution available at the moment which tracks the location of the cell phone on a GSM or a CDMA network

So you finally decided to look for a job and now you have your very first interview. Like most people, you probably want to make a good first impression if you’re planning to work for that company. But what a lot of people omit from their pre-interview prep is their appearance. Believe it or not, first appearances are extremely important when it comes to getting that job because it tells a lot about who you are and how you hold yourself. The first and most important thing you need to do is be groomed and clean. That means no messy hair and no beards (for the guys). Make sure you take a shower either the night before your interview or just before. Make sure you hair is properly in its place.

Brush your teeth. Don’t have a smoke and walk right in- it will smell! If you must have a cigarette, bring some breath mints with you. Make sure you brush your teeth before you leave and don’t overpower yourself with perfume. Just one spritz is enough- you’re going for a job not for a guy/girl!

Make sure your shoes are clean! I cannot stress that enough because so many people disregard the appearance of their shoes when it is equally important that your shoes are clean, just like your teeth or your hair. So make sure you check that over before you leave!

Do not wear crazy nail polish colors. Guys, you shouldn’t be wearing any at all in the first place. Girls, stick to regular colors such as peach, red, white, and neutrals. Don’t leave your black nail polish on, it’s just very unprofessional.

Dress appropriately! A lot of people don’t know how to dress the right way for an interview, so it’s important that you look the part. Wear something that makes you feel empowered and ready to take on anything.
